2 – Nashwood // Rich Redmond, Entrepreneur, Actor, Producer, & Drummer for Jason Aldean

In Episode 2, SMI interviews entrepreneur, actor, producer, and drummer for Jason Aldean, Rich Redmond. Live from “the bedroom” studio, Brandon and Jason wow at the wide variety of entertainment-related enterprises Rich is involved in, and laugh until they cry as Rich crushes it on the tiny drum kit. More than just a drummer–uniting the smoothness of Hollywood with a Nashville vibe, he’s definitely member of club NASHWOOD.

Rich spoke about being a member of the AFM Local 257:

The Nashville Musicians Association, AFM Local 257, was founded in 1902, and exists to serve and protect musicians in an increasingly challenging business environment. The organization represents studio musicians, touring bands, symphonic musicians, vocalists, arrangers, composers, contractors, and more. They negotiate and administer contracts, track additional uses of songs recorded under AFM union contracts, and represent musicians in all genres of music from jazz to rock, pop, bluegrass, gospel, and yes, country music. Members range from music icons such as Vince Gill and Loretta Lynn, to young bands working their way up the ladder of success, and everything in between. Check them out:
